Utah Housing Market Update – July 2020, Utah Housing Prices

Today let’s talk about a Utah housing market update and Utah housing prices in July 2020. Is now a good time to buy a house in Utah? Is it a good time to sell a house in Utah? Along the Wasatch Front (Salt Lake County, Utah County, and Davis County) it’s been what is called a seller’s market for a number of years and COVID has not slowed things down much along the Wasatch Front.

At the time of this video, stats were only out through May of 2020 so let’s compare the housing market from May 2019 to May 2020. Looking at the days on market, we have actually decreased the amount of days in every price category this year, up to $750,000. Housing prices continue to appreciate each year and it’s not different in 2020. In fact, what a house is worth in 2020 compared to 2015 is MIND BLOWING!

Regardless if you’re a buyer or seller in this market, it’s not uncommon to see multiple offers on properties; especially if you’re looking at $450,000 or under. Check out my video below with a more in-depth market overview.
