I’d love to connect with you. So what is so appealing to people about living in Draper, Utah? There’s lots of different things that are great about Draper, but let’s talk first about the school districts. People often shop for homes based off of a school district. And Draper is in the Canyon School District which is known to be one of the best school districts in the state of Utah. Corner Canyon High School and Draper Park Middle School are actually ranked as a top school for high school and middle school in the Canyon School District according to the publicschoolreview.com website. And that’s for math and reading scores.

So it’s a really good school district. Corner Canyon is known for their sports program. So if you have children that are very into sports, Corner Canyon has fantastic programs. So Draper has grown a lot since I moved to it in 2002, but it’s still kind of has that small town feel. In 2019, it was estimated that the population in Draper was just over 48,000 in the town. So still kind of a large city, you still have lots of shopping you can do here, restaurants, but the population in general is not very big. So speaking of shopping, Draper… Now, we don’t have a mall in Draper per se, but just a few miles away, there is South Town Mall in Sandy. But we have a lot of different shops from mom and pop style shops up to Kohl’s and everything in between. So you really don’t have to leave Draper.

You have doctors offices here, dentists, orthodontist, you name it. If you live in Draper, you really don’t have to travel out of Draper for much, or you really don’t need to go very far, only maybe a few miles out of Draper. And so that’s really appealing to people for the convenience factor. So if you have children and you’re wondering things that kids can do in Draper, we have the Living Planet Aquarium, a huge aquarium right here in Draper. We Cowabunga Bay with water slides, a lazy river. We have All Star Bowling. We have Boondocks with miniature golf, golf carts, bumper cars, arcade inside. And then of course there’s tons of parks all through the area where it’s not unusual in Draper, even driving through town, to see a lot of kids outside.

There’s a skate park, and I always see kids at the skate park riding around on their bikes, their scooters, their skateboards. Driving through neighborhood, you see kids out playing a lot, it’s not unusual. And the same thing at parks throughout the city, you have a lot of little pop-up parks in neighborhoods. So it’s fantastic for outdoor activities as well for kids and adults because we have so many trails in Draper for hiking, for biking, mountain biking. You can go through town where if you just want to walk and not be in the mountains, you can do that. So, so much outdoor activities and things to keep you busy in Draper.
