Hey Draper, what is being built all over this city? Check out all the new construction in Draper, Utah. This is Melissa with Utah Homes by Melissa.
I’m a fellow resident of Draper City and if you’re like me, you’ve been driving around town and wondering what is being built around. Well, here’s some answers for you according to the Draper Planning Department.
There’s actually a lot being built in Draper, like a Marriott Hotel that’s going in near the Harmons off of Bangerter and the 15. There’s also 38 acres being developed for commercial, but what I wanna focus on is actually residential living.
So here’s your quick rundown of what’s going on in Draper that’s currently under construction of have been approved to start construction. For single family homes and lots, we have eight subdivisions approved. For townhouses, five. Apartment buildings, three. Or not buildings, but subdivisions. And for unspecified housing, two. What I mean by that is actually the City Planning Commission hasn’t stated online what those units are going to be, whether they’re gonna be apartments, condos, townhouses. So we’re not really sure. But one of them is actually quite large and is gonna have about 50 units in it.
