Today I’m going to take you on aLuxury One-Of-A-Kind Draper Home Tour of one of the most exclusive houses in the Salt Lake Valley. If you want to know what a multimillion-dollar house looks like, stay tuned because I’m taking you on a private tour of 872 East 13450 South in Draper, Utah. This house is located on a private lane in Draper, close to Corner Canyon High School, restaurants, shopping, and world-class skiing.
One of the first things you’ll notice walking into this living room and into this house is the vaulted ceilings with the beautiful wood beams. This home was inspired by the ancient cottages in England, and you’ll see those details throughout this tour. Talk about an entertainer’s dream, just off the living room is your custom kitchen. Let’s face it, when you do entertaining everybody gathers in the kitchen, so this makes it a breeze that these two spaces are married together perfectly. In the kitchen you have dual Sub-Zero refrigerators and freezers hidden behind the custom paneling.
Now, in the center of your kitchen you have these beautiful marble countertops. You have a farmhouse sink, and high-end Wolf gas appliances with dual ovens and a custom commercial-grade hood. One of my favorite things about this kitchen is, you notice that there is solid wood on each end of the countertop, but what you may not be able to tell right away is this expands up to give you a more casual dining experience for four people. If you want to keep the mess out of your kitchen, you’re going to want to move over here to the butler’s pantry. One of the first things you’re going to notice in this butler’s pantry is how bright and open it feels because of all the windows.
But we’re here for the cooking, and you have your high-end Wolf microwave and steam cooker in here, an ice maker, and soapstone countertops. Just off the kitchen, you have your formal dining room space. If you want to enjoy the beautiful Salt Lake City evenings, you can dine outside under the covered porch. Right off of the living room we have a half bath and the entrance to the primary bedroom suite. This is not just a primary suite. It is a primary retreat. Now, I’m not normally a bath person, but this tub may persuade me. The primary bathroom has a dual vanity that is separated by a steam shower. On the opposite side of the primary bathroom you have your own private covered porch.
Let’s take a look down this hall at the garage, mudroom, and laundry room. Step through the mudroom and take a look at this laundry room that would even have me excited to do laundry. Following the theme of the butler’s pantry, you have soapstone countertops and custom cabinets. Now, before I take you upstairs to the second floor, I want to point out this beautiful hand carved solid wood stairwell.
Now that we’re here on the second floor, the first thing I want to point out to you is this elaborate hallway with the custom wood beams down the entire length that makes you feel like you’re in a castle. Upstairs you have this large office fit for a CEO. Aside from this office, the second floor has two bedrooms, one full bath, and this large room.
Let’s take a look at the basement that has entertainment in mind. To begin, this basement features a large game area, wet bar, and a movie theater room. In addition to the entertainment space the basement has a bathroom, two activity rooms, and a guest suite that features an attached bathroom. One of the unique features of this basement is the large 10-foot ceilings and wide hallway. Before we head outside to show you the yard, garage, and carriage house, one of the things that makes this house so unique is that the wood baseboards and door casings were actually made from a specific knife made specially for this house.
You have a two-car attached garage that’s oversized, with epoxy floors, LED lighting, and a water faucet that makes it perfect for its own dog wash or for washing your vehicles. Let’s take a look inside the carriage house. This home sits on over a half acre right in the heart of Draper. The backyard features three covered porches, a fireplace, a swim spa, and a garden.
