New Construction Homes in Daybreak South Jordan
New single-family homes in Daybreak. That is what I’m covering today. So make sure that you stay tuned to hear and see firsthand the homes that this builder is putting out. But first, today, I want to bring you new homes, single-family homes that are being built in Daybreak west of Mountain View Corridor from Sego Homes. And I’ve worked with Sego Homes. So I’m really excited to show you these properties because they have good customer service. I have good relationships with the agents working there, just really on top of things.
Now, Sego has been in Daybreak for quite some time doing townhomes. And one of the things that I do like about them, and you’ll hear me talk on the walkthrough and some of this might be repeated because I did the walkthrough too. But one of the things that I really like about Sego is I have a client under contract right now with one of their townhomes. And sometimes builders gouged you with prices for upgrades and things like that. And after just recently, within the last week, going through that and going through options and extras with my client, Sego does not do that. I feel like their prices are very reasonable for what they charge you, if you choose to do extras.
Okay. So I am out here in Daybreak in the new single-family homes that Sego Homes is going to start building. Now Sego has always done townhouses in Daybreak, but never single-family homes. So I want to take you on a tour of them. So this first one we’re going to see is the adventure. So when you walk up, you have an optional delivery door. So Amazon can put your packages in there. And let me show you just the wide-open, bright feeling you get as soon as you walk in. And then of course the models looking out at the watercourse, but here is your package delivery. So if you’re out of town, anything like that.
You have a Butler’s pantry off the main kitchen area, which makes this an entertainer’s dream. Because if you like to entertain people with this being such an open concept, you can definitely keep your counter space and kitchen area clean and prep for things back in the Butler pantry. Now, as a dog lover, I’m going to show you my favorite part of this house. And there’s a lot of favorite parts like these amazing glass sliders that are just huge, that go up to this outdoor space with the fire pit. You have an office here off of the main. The garage. And then mudroom.
You have your half bath here on the main floor and an optional dog wash station. Now as a dog lover, this is my favorite. Okay. So heading upstairs. So there’s lots of personal touches with Sego that I love. For instance, the wood trim going up the stairs, just to add a little something. The thing I love about these also is the rooms are bigger than what you typically find in Daybreak in general. Good size closet and little patio from this bedroom. The open stair feel. Got a linen closet, beautiful full bath. Another bedroom with double doors.
And then the laundry room. Now, look at this. These are the touches that make things so cool. This is a little pass-through from the master bedroom. So you’ll see that here in a second from the laundry room. But look at this room. Big beautiful windows looking out at what will soon be the future watercourse. And I love this bathroom and the tub. So there’s the other side of the past through. Good master size closet and two shower heads
But the best part for last this bedroom, not just amazing views, but look at this deck space and all of their balconies are engineer to hold the weight of a hot tub. So when it’s not smoky, you can see the ochre mountains. Nice size, just a beautiful layout. Heading down to the basement. Now, if you are like me and many people I work with, basement height matters. So they do nine-foot ceilings standard in their basements. So you have a bedroom turn gym in this model.
A double sink vanity in the basement with full tub and separate door to the toilet. And in true fashion of many homes in Utah, the under stair storage. And then again, look at the beautiful work that they do. Now, a lot of the stuff is optional extras like wet bars are not standard with this builder or most builders. But again, look at the wood trim, just to add a little bit of pop. Cold storage area.
So that is why I love working with Sego is they have fantastic people to work with. They have great attention to detail. And just a furnace room. And the quality is there. I’ve said in many of my videos with my husband being a general contractor himself, I definitely have that eye and feel for good quality construction and they have it. Now, this is an optional central vac they have in their homes too.
Now they have over 70 lots that are going to be coming available out in Daybreak for the single-family homes. They’re going to range in price. There’s a couple of different options for layouts, but I’m going to take you through the two models. Not all today. You’re going to have to wait for another video for the second model, but the homes are going to start about $550,000 and go up to about $750,000. And then of course, if you do extras and things like that, that will be on top of your sales price. They will give you the option to finish the basement. So if you do want a finished basement, they can do that for you. At least at the time of this recording. I hope you enjoyed this walkthrough tour of the Sego Homes, Daybreak model home.
