The list price is $825,000, located very conveniently to Westminster College, which means you’re not far from the University of Utah, you’re less than 10 miles to Salt Lake City International Airport, and not more than 10 or 15 minutes to Downtown Salt Lake City. Okay, so as you come in the front door, you have the fireplace and just a good sized living room area. You have hardwood floors throughout. It opens up to the kitchen, and we will get to that here in a second, but the basement is over to the left. So some updating has been done in here, as you can see. You have a cute little one car garage out there. You have a mud room area. New windows. You can see the stickers on them.
So one thing I love about this house is look at this amazing deck and how big it is. But look at the size of this yard, which for this area is unheard of. But this deck goes the whole length of the house. So you have lots of place to entertain and it is a covered deck.
So off the main living room before you go into the kitchen, let’s take a look down this hallway at the primary bedroom, the second bedroom and the bathrooms. Okay, so for the main floor, you do have two bedrooms and two bathrooms up here. This is your full bathroom. So you can see this has all been updated with the tile around the tub. Your primary bedroom is on the front of the house. The primary bathroom is a shower, no tub. Okay. Then you have a second bedroom up here on the main floor.
So from the dining room, let’s take a look at the basement. So as you get to the bottom of the stairs, you can see you have a wide open area. Big windows. So even though you’re in the basement, you don’t feel like it. A great benefit, you have a walkout basement here with two full bedrooms, laundry and a bathroom. Now, the bathroom is a three-quarter bath here. This is where your laundry hookups would be, your three-quarter bath and then your two bedrooms in the basement area. Now, if you’ve ever been in a home in this area, the basements can feel pretty closed in and cold, and this one does not.
Here’s your second bedroom and a closet. One thing I want to point out is the ceiling height in this basement. I am 5’6″ and I can’t quite touch the ceiling in this main room area, which for this area is a huge deal. Because most of the time you feel like you’re having to duck down so you don’t hit your head on the basement ceiling.
Okay. Let’s take a look from the walkout basement. You have the porch that goes along the whole exterior back of the house, just like you do upstairs. This is covered and it goes straight into the backyard. But just listen, you can hear how quiet it is. So you have Westminster right down at the end of this street, so you can see just how quiet it is in the neighborhood and really just quaint to feel.
